RESTORATION work is taking place at the historic Fishermen’s Hospital in Priory Plain, Great Yarmouth.
The building was constructed from 1698 and was opened in 1702 by Christians to care for retired fishermen.
And now Halvergate carpenter Kevin Whittaker is restoring the cupola tower of the Grade 1 listed building.
Intricate repair work is required, and the tower houses a statue of St Peter.
An exact completion date for work is not known.
