Yarmouth Borough Council wants to create a conservation area around Marine Parade, Pier Plain, Sussex Road and the Lower and Upper Esplanades.

A final draft of the zone has been drawn up and will now go before the authority's cabinet in January for approval.

Currently there are two conservation areas in Gorleston covering part of Cliff Hill and the town centre.
