Three members of staff at accountancy and business advisory firm BDO in Great Yarmouth have become newly qualified accountants.

Stephan Schmitt, 26, achieved the second highest place in the Order of Merit for students working in East Anglia passing the Association of Chartered Accountants Advanced Stage examinations. Stephan is an audit senior and works across the firm’s offices in Yarmouth and Norwich.

Alex Salmon, also 26, has also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW, while Emily Kirby, 23, has qualified with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Both Alex and Emily work as business advisers.

James Shipp, Partner at BDO’s Yarmouth office, said: “Congratulations to Emily, Stephan and Alex for this significant achievement and we hope they will be the stars of the future. We continue to actively recruit school leavers and graduates in East Anglia and across the UK, and are proud of the progress and achievements our students continue to demonstrate.”
