A couple are appealing for help to track down their beloved pet cat after it went missing from their Bradwell home.

Tommy the black and white cat was last seen on Sunday morning in a neighbour’s garden and despite searching, his owners Doreen and Allan Wright have not been able to find him.

The great grandparents, who have owned Tommy since he was a kitten, said the three-year-old feline usually went out after his breakfast but always returned home to Maple Gardens.

Doreen, 74, said: “He normally goes in next door’s garden but on Sunday the neighbour said he had some sort of fright near her bird bath and since then we haven’t seen him.

“His girlfriend Lily lives next door but one and he’d be in their garden on the Saturday playing, but they hadn’t seen him on Sunday.”

Allan, 77, added: “It’s very unlike him to go off. We want to see him come home so we know he’s alright.”

Tommy was wearing his collar and name tag when he went missing. Anyone who has seen him should call the Wrights on 01493 657562.
