THE latest Have your Say event takes place next week with residents invited to give their views on borough council services.

Taking place in Great Yarmouth Market Place on Wednesday, 10am to 4pm, the event is being opened by Mayor Tony Smith.

THE latest Have your Say event takes place next week with residents invited to give their views on borough council services.

Taking place in Great Yarmouth Market Place on Wednesday, 10am to 4pm, the event is being opened by Mayor Tony Smith.

There will be a chance to add comments to a graffiti wall, while staff will be on hand to answer queries and hand out information.

Other stands and activities include a free draw to win tickets concert tickets for the second Great Yarmouth international concert series; Norfolk Citizen's Panel; Look back at the Out There Festival; Visit a Polling Station; enterpriseGY team.

Youngsters can let their imagination run wild with the children's Christmas card competition, with the winning design used in the Mayor's official Christmas card.

Council leader Barry Coleman said: “We still think Great Yarmouth, town and borough, is very much on the up, but we want to know what residents think. A huge amount has happened in recent years to make the borough cleaner, greener and safer, and the prospects for the future are even better through continued regeneration, conservation and the up turn in our economy.

“We see this event as a chance to get out there and talk to the people of Great Yarmouth and hear what they have to say.”
