Have your say over the future of the NHS

PUBLISHED: 19:25 23 March 2011

TWO public meetings are scheduled to take place next week to give people an opportunity to find out more about a local NHS Trust’s plans for the future and to share their feedback.

People are encouraged to attend the meetings, which are part of Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust’s (NCH&C) Come on Board consultation.

They will both take place on Thursday in Great Yarmouth and Diss, with the Yarmouth meeting going ahead at the Town Hall from 10.15am to 12.30pm. The upcoming meetings come after a number of similar gatherings which took place across Norfolk to give people across the county an opportunity to share their views on the planned development of the Trust and the services it provides.

People who attend the meetings will hear how NCH&C, which delivers over 70 different health and care NHS services to people right across Norfolk, plans to become a Community Foundation Trust (CFT).

At the meetings people will be able to ask representatives from NCH&C about the Trust’s plans for the future and will be able to confidentially confirm whether they agree with these plans or would like to suggest changes. The consultation launched in January and is open until April 15.

Those who can’t make it to the meetings can read the proposals and complete a form online at
