THE Haven Bridge at Great Yarmouth will be closed to traffic and pedestrians overnight from 7pm on March 2 until 6am on March 3 to allow engineers to repair a fault that has been causing difficulties in closing the bridge after lifting for river traffic.
The work can only be carried out with the bridge slightly raised, preventing its use by traffic.
If for any reason it is impossible to carry out or complete the work over that period of time, the bridge will be closed to traffic the following night from 7pm until 6am the next morning. The work has been arranged by EastPort UK.
