Are you passionate about making a real difference? Hemsby Lifeboat is a well-respected station dedicated to the safety of people at sea and on the Norfolk Broads, and the team is looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join their volunteers.
The lifeboat is at the heart of the community at the station on Hemsby beach and volunteering is ideal for people living in the village and who would like to help raise money for the valuable lifesaving service, working closely with the coxswain and crew.
The positions for the lifeboat shop next to the station, will involve working with the team selling merchandise and helping keep the shop open through the season between March and October.
The position of fundraiser will involve going to Hemsby holiday camps during the season and collecting donations accompanied by a lifeboat crew member.
Anyone interested in applying for either of these positions, contact the lifeboat station in writing to: Hemsby Inshore Rescue Service, Lifeboat Station, The Gap, Beach Road, Hemsby, Norfolk NR29 4HS, or visit the station and ask for coxswain Daniel Hurd.
