Hemsby lifeboat

Santa will be swapping his sleigh for a more unusual mode of transport when he tours the northern villages.

Thanks to Hemsby independent lifeboat he will be “sailing” through the streets spreading festive cheer.

And aiding him on his journey will be his crew of life-saving helpers, ready to respond to an emergency at sea or on the Broads at any time of the day or night, and guaranteeing Santa will get through whatever the weather.

His first visit will be to Stalham on Friday December 1, 4-8.30pm. On Tuesday December 5 he will be in Rollesby, 5-9pm; on Wednesday he will be in Scratby, 5-9pm; on Thursday he will be in Filby, 5-9pm; and on Friday in Acle, 5-9pm.

On Saturday December 9 see him in Brundall, 5-9pm.

On Friday and Saturday December 15 and 16 he will be in Hemsby, 5-9pm.

His final engagement will be at Tesco, Caister, on Friday December 22, also 5-9pm.
