VANDALISM and parking offences are being successfully targeted by police in Hemsby.

Officers patrolling on Beach Road have tackled drivers parking on double yellow lines. One motorist was issued with a fixed penalty ticket.

Just two incidents of criminal damage in the village have been reported since the problem was highlighted.

The two issues were raised at the village's latest safer neighbourhood priority meeting.

The next meeting will be held at the Old Hall, Caister on Tuesday, September 1.
