A 19-year-old Hemsby man has died in a road accident on Wednesday evening.
Stefan Hilton of Beach Road suffered serious head injuries as a result of the accident and died earlier today.
The accident happened at Horsey Road, West Somerton at 7pm on Wednesday.
Stefan was driving a red Fiesta travelling south along the Horsey Road in the direction of West Somerton when for reasons unknown it left the road and ended up in ditch.
His parents Susan and Derek have paid tribute to their son saying: “We are naturally devastated by the tragic and untimely death of our son. We are taking comfort from the treasured memories we have of Stefan at this very difficult time. We as a family are also taking great comfort from the fact that Stefan carried an 'organ donor' card and that although his death is a great tragedy, something positive will come from it and other people will be helped.”
Officers from Acle Road Policing are renewing their appeals for witnesses to the collision.
