A boat operator based in Potter Heigham has appointed a new business development manager.
Steve Barraclough, 35, has taken up the role with Herbert Woods and will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and utilising high street travel agents and tour operators in the UK and overseas.
Mr Barraclough, who lives in Brundall, is a keen sailor and has been a dinghy and windsurf instructor for most of his adult life.
He has also become an ambassador for Stand Up Paddleboarding on The Broads.
Mr Barraclough said: “I have gained an invaluable insight into the travel industry and I am delighted to be bringing all my knowledge and experience to Herbert Woods and the Norfolk Broads.
“Herbert Woods is the only operator on The Broads to offer this direct commercial service to travel agents. “It’s a great opportunity to project Herbert Woods to the UK retail trade and beyond.”
