THE new Herman Primary School opens in September and excited pupils have been trying on their brand new uniforms in eager anticipation. The smart red sweatshirts sport the school logo, a gold tree with green leaves and the words “Growing to succeed.”
Headteacher Kate Rutherford involved the pupils in contributing their ideas to the design of the uniform and the new school logo.
The school, which has impressive ICT facilities, full access for the disabled, including a spacious lift, toilets and cloakrooms, is preparing for further developments over the summer holidays including new flooring and a food technology room. The new school brochure will soon be published.
