PATIENTS at the James Paget University Hospital will soon find it easier to share their views on the services they receive when state-of-the-art touch screen feedback devices are introduced later this month.
PATIENTS at the James Paget University Hospital will soon find it easier to share their views on the services they receive when state-of-the-art touch screen feedback devices are introduced later this month.
From mid September people visiting the main foyer and Department of Medicine waiting area will be able to give their opinions using freestanding pedestal devices.
In October, a further ten portable handheld units will also be circulated around the hospital's wards for use by patients waiting for discharge. The Trust is now appealing for volunteers to step forward to help these patients to use the handheld devices.
The volunteer will be assigned a ward and be responsible for introducing the device to patients and helping them to use it, if necessary, while also taking care not to influence their response to the survey questions.
