CHILDREN enjoyed a three day residential trip on the Norfolk Broads with a visit to How Hill. The 34 pupils from years three and five at Hillside First School tried their hands at orienteering, thatching, dyke-dipping and investigating the various habitats around the Broads between March 17 and 19. The children equipped themselves with wellies, warm clothing and waterproof trousers for their adventure and were given a talk by Eric the Marshman about his work cutting back the reeds.
