Great Yarmouth's Hippodrome Circus is coming to the end of its 110th summer spectacular with just a handful of shows left to play over the weekend.
Producer Peter Jay said the season had been one of the most successful with performers garnered from all corners of the globe.
Among them are dynamic dancers, amazing acrobats, and hilarious comedy from host Jack Jay with the much loved young comedian Johnny Mac.
Plus from Switzerland Gengis van Gool on the thrilling wheel of death and the death defying crossbow act, and from Mexico The Flying Maltese with the mind blowing flying trapeze and Russian Swing. From Portugal The Dalton Family with their thrilling skating act and Robert Foxhall ‘the man who can fly.’ The show comes to its final weekend with two shows on Saturday 2.30pm and 7.30pm and the last show of the season at 2.30pm on Sunday.
Mr Jay said: “Don’t miss the last performances of this show which has to finish this weekend, it’s been a great season. The question I am always asked is ‘Will we still see the same acts again next year?’ and I want to emphasise that this really is the last chance to see many of these acts in this country and it is really a last chance to add this show to the collection of Hippodrome memories. Many people have seen all our shows, many times this season more than once, one lady had seen all the Hippodrome shows since she was 21 and this year she was 82 years old.”
