A holiday park is set to host a charity night for the lifeboat heroes who have been doing their utmost to help the community during the erosion crisis.

Belle Aire Holiday Park in Hemsby will be raising funds for the Hemsby Lifeboat team that is working round the clock to deal with the devastating storm aftermath.

A clutch of residents at The Marrams have seen their homes either demolished or become uninhabitable, and members of the lifeboat crew have constantly been on hand to help them through the emergency.

The event, taking place on April 14 from 7pm, will feature - among other things - an evening of live music and a raffle at the park on Beach Road, and everyone is welcome.

A spokesman from the park said: “It is heartbreaking to see the devastation going on in Hemsby. Some people have worked their whole lives, only to have everything taken away in a matter of days.

“We want to do what we can to help support the lifeboat and their great work.”
