An 11 year old girl from Fleggburgh won a top prize in the biggest quilting festival in Europe. Holly Neeve, who starts Flegg High School in September, won Young Quilter/Embroider in the 9-11 age group at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham and collected a prize of £200.
The theme for her quilt, which took six months to make, was On The Beach, with Holly taking inspiration from living close to the seaside.
She has had an exceptional year being made the first ever head girl at Martham Primary School and has recently raised £957.06 for Brain Tumour Research.
