THE James Paget University Hospital has launched a new and improved version of its website following criticism from users about site navigation, design and lack of information.

Sites visitors will find an improved version on their screens with more information and improved accessibility features.

Julie Cave, director of finance and performance said: “It will give our patients and the public access to much more information about the hospital and our services. Downloadable documents, and some short video clips featuring some of our staff and patients, provide different ways of finding out about what we do. We have improved our accessibility features for those preferring to view the site with larger text size options, and translation into our four most frequently requested languages.”

Responding to the criticisms she added: “We have tried to address all those comments and I hope that those visiting the site continue to give us their feedback. It really helps us to ensure the site is informative, easy to use and that we continue to improve it to meet the needs of our patients.”
