Hunt for Gorleston sex assault suspect

POLICE are investigating an allegation of sexual assault on a woman in her 20s in Gorleston.

The incident took place late last night between 11pm and 12.30am close to Brasenose Avenue.

The woman was walking home alone when she was approached by a man who got into conversation her.

He persuaded her to accompany him into nearby parkland where he is then alleged to have sexually assaulted her. The area of parkland off Brasenose Avenue was sealed off by police who are continuing investigations.
