More pets looking for new homes, some of them are regular faces – can anyone open their arms and take them in and love them?

From the RSPCA East Norfolk branch this week we have Florence who certainly likes a snooze. She also loves to play and is a very happy cat. She is seven years old and in need of a home.

Digit is around two and he is a sweet boy, he likes a fuss and has been waiting patiently

Licky Lix is a fabulous cat, he is a big boy and loves a fuss and is so loving. He does not like other cats so would be best with just us humans for company.

Mimmie has been waiting for ages for a home, she is a golden oldie and deserves better than being in a cattery for a long time. She recently had an operation to remove her pinnas (outer ear due to sun damage) let’s hope this week she finds the home she deserves.

Jess the cat is 16 years young and went into care after her owner could sadly no longer care for her. She was a much loved cat and is in good health for her age. Can anyone give her a new home for her twilight years?

Hambo the homeless cat, is only 10-11 months old quite young to need a loving forever home so soon. He needs to be the only cat in the household as he can be quite bossy.

Scamp the male Lurcher is a lovely dog and is around seven months old, he will still need to continue his training and is good with other dogs.

All of the cats and dogs and rabbits are neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, vet checked and on a flea and worm programme.

The branch is locally funded and for more information or to see other animals available for rehoming the please visit the website at To adopt an animal please call 07867 972870.

Some really long stayers are waiting in the care of the Norfolk and Suffolk Animal Trust, and just their own family.

Rodney, the two year old male Lurcher is chipped and castrated. He needs an owner with experience of the breed and went into the kennels underweight and not in a good condition. He is good with dogs he knows, but not good outside with unknown dogs, cats, motorbikes, cycles, but very good with humans. He would not be good in a household with children or cats, and would make a lovely loving pet for the right owner.

Seven year old Collie/Staffie Velcro is a very loving character, who has found himself in kennels because his previous owners reluctantly had to give him up because of their working hours. He is intelligent and needs lots of exercise so would suit an active home. He is chipped and castrated. Velcro is very good with commands and has lived with two cats. He is okay with dogs. Velcro has anxiety problems so will need a household that doesn’t work. Owners had to give him up as he was being left for nine hours at a time which he couldn’t deal with. He has been looked after very well and been taught nice manners. An ideal pet.

For more information about Velcro or Rodney, contact Christine, 9am to 6pm Tuesday to Sunday on 01502 740787 or 07803745541; or Andy on 01493 603798 or 07557127625.

Handsome tall black boy Taggy is this week’s Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders’ featured pet. Taggy has lovely expressive ears and an endearing happy face. Still a youngster, Taggy is full of life and loves to play a game of ball or go for an exciting new walk. A friendly boy, he loves lots of attention and is always up for a fuss. He also walks well on the lead and is very ready to become part of a family. For more information, or to meet Taggy, contact Homefinding co-ordinator Corinne Douglas, on Homefinders’ local rate call number, 0845 458 3797.
