Injured man on beach had knife

A man was held last night by police after being found on a Norfolk beach with mysterious injuries and a knife.

The man, who has not been named, was initially thought to be unconscious and ambulance crews called police to help them at about 8pm.

When he was reached on Scratby beach, near Caister, he was found to have a knife and was later arrested.
