A former manager of a Yarmouth sheltered housing block was yesterday warned she faced jail after she admitted stealing 14,000 from a vulnerable 89-year-old woman.
Sally Unwin, 44, of Standard Place, Yarmouth, pleaded guilty at Norwich Crown Court to stealing the money from Valerie House.
Judge Alasdair Darroch adjourned sentence until June 24 for reports and warned Unwin: “Thefts of this sort from an elderly victim almost inevitably result in custody”.
