I was walking down Great Yarmouth seafront at around 10.40pm on September 19, and I looked to the sky and thought something was a bit different about it.

My camera was on me so I took it out and that is when I realised it was the milky way and it looked beautiful.

You would not have been able to see it with the bare eye but I used a 10 to 20mm zoom lense. I am a keen photographer and upload a lot of photos to my Facebook page JALP Photography, so I always have my camera on me.

I have always wanted to try and get the milky way into a picture and somehow I was able to find it.
