Professional footballers, entertainers and super heroes have all pitched in to spread some festive cheer around the children’s ward of one of the region’s hospital.
A packed programme of visitors and entertainers was drawn up by nursing staff at the James Paget University Hospital this December, as they look to create memorable festive moments for the children on the ward.
There was a visit from Norwich City midfielder Harrison Reed, special appearances from Batman and Superman and many other occasions for children to enjoy.
There was a karate demonstration from the Chinto Karate team, balloon antics with entertainer Tricky Twister and furry friends from Zootastic.
There were also many donations made to the ward, including toys donated from the Feathers pub in Great Yarmouth and decorations from Kerry’s store, Lowestoft.
A spokesman said: “All the staff on the ward would like to thank all those who have made donations or entertain the children during December.”
