A GORLESTON man who broke into a Caister property and stole jewellery has been jailed for two years.
Samuel Petrie, of Nelson Road, forced open the back door of the bungalow on Westerley Way on August 4 and stole the jewellery, while a large flat screen TV and two smaller TVs had been moved but not taken.
The 25-year-old was traced by detectives using forensic evidence gathered at the scene and pleaded guilty to burglary at Norwich Crown Court last Monday.
