PLANNED local government budget cuts are coming under the spotlight at a meeting in Great Yarmouth on Friday.
Senior officials from Norfolk County Council will be attending to answer questions about the Comprehensive Spending Review.
The event at the King’s Centre, 9.30am to 1pm, is part of the Big Conversation initiative and has been organised by Voluntary Norfolk.
Great Yarmouth Voluntary Sector Partnership, people partnership officer Nelly Adhiambo said: “We believe it’s important to bring the voluntary and public sectors together at the earliest opportunity to begin to consider and discuss our joint responses to the enormous challenges these proposals raise for service users and for organisations delivering front-line services.”
Anyone wishing to attend should call Toni Tingle on 01493 845925 or email admin@gyvsp.org.uk.
