SHIVER me timbers - the Jolly Roger was flying high at the Nelson Museum this week.
Children enjoyed some half-term fun during a Pirate Day at the South Quay museum on Monday.
Youngsters were kept entertained making hats, eye patches and swords and taking part in a pirate parade.
The event was the first in a series of family activities planned by the museum's learning and access officer Rosie Walker.
