The family of a missing vulnerable man have praised the outpouring of public support which led to him being found safe and well.

Jordan Holmes, 21, from Great Yarmouth, was found along the town’s seafront at 2am today (Sunday, June 3).

He had last been seen in Woolwich, London at 9pm on Friday night and it was believed he could have travelled back the Great Yarmouth area.

Mr Holmes, who has autism, was described by his aunt Suzanne Beavis as “very, very vulnerable.”

She said: “He is now safe and back with family; we are so relieved that he has been found.

“My partner found him early this morning at Yarmouth seafront.”

The originally story reporting Mr Holmes as missing was shared hundreds of times across social media.

Ms Beavis added: “It was fantastic, I can’t thank people enough for sharing it. People were even out looking for him.

“I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone.”
