FORTY junior members of the Lowestoft and Yarmouth 3 Lions kickboxing gym took part in a two mile fun run along Great Yarmouth's Golden Mile and back to raise money for four members travelling to the Junior World Championships in Spain in October.

The juniors were accompanied by many parents and coach Bin Tyler and assistant Arron Monson, and they raised 800 to be split between travel costs and accommodation at the World Championships, and towards up keep of the gym.

Despite it being the hottest day of the year so far, everyone completed the run and did well. The gym and all its members would like to thank organiser Laurie Butcher for all the hard work she put in.

Junior kickboxing classes are on Tuesday and Thursday, from 6.15pm and Saturdays 1-3pm at the gym on Estcourt Road, Yarmouth.
