It's amazing what you can find in, or in this case under, a garden shed. This cute little kitten ventured out from its hiding place just long enough to be caught on camera this week.

It was one of a litter of three that came into the world beneath the shed at Bill and Margaret Rumsby's Great Yarmouth home.

Pensioner Bill, 71, was amazed when he discovered the kittens and their mum squeezed into the small space this week.

“We had seen our dog Hooch sniffing round there about three weeks ago and wondered would he could have been doing,” he said.

“I was painting in the garden when I saw this little black and white bump disappear under the shed and couldn't believe what I saw when I looked to see what it was. There is no collar or name tag on the mum so we don't know who she belongs to.”

The kittens are very shy, but have been attracting a lot of attention from Bill and Margaret's neighbours in Havelock Road.

The couple have been feeding the tabby coloured cat and her kittens, but are not able to give them a permanent home.

Anyone who thinks they might own the cat or could offer a home to the kittens can call Bill and Margaret on 01493 850743.
