Knife threat robbery

A MAN fought off a knife-wielding robber in an alleyway in Great Yarmouth.The attack happened at 9.55am on Friday last week, as the 32 year old man was walking through the alleyway between St Francis Way and Patterson Close.

A MAN fought off a knife-wielding robber in an alleyway in Great Yarmouth.

The attack happened at 9.55am on Friday last week, as the 32 year old man was walking through the alleyway between St Francis Way and Patterson Close. He was approached by a black male who demanded he hand over his wallet.

The victim refused and the attacker produced a knife and slashed out towards him, cutting the palm of his left hand.

The attacker ran off towards St Francis Way. He is described as being black, aged 30 to 40, slim build, 6ft 0ins tall, short cropped tight, black hair with one to two day's beard growth. He was wearing a blue denim jeans and a black top.
