ADIEU, EMILY! As the term ended, Madame Dagg and the class at White House, Somerton bid an emotional farewell to Emily Belson who had been attending La Jolie Ronde since it started in the area almost three years ago. Emily had become Madame Dagg's “assistante” within the class since January. She was presented with a certificate for being a great helper and flowers to wish her well as she moves on to pastures new at her residential college in Lincolnshire in September. Emily will continue studying French as part of her studies and the children join Madame Dagg to wish her well for the future.
