Despite plenty of wind, the turbine at Ness Point, called Gulliver, has been still since May 12 after an electrical fault caused it to stop.
Now it is hoped the necessary part will be delivered on Friday so it can start turning again.
Matthew Clayton, investment man-ager at operator Triodos Renewables, said: “There are a number of electrical circuits on the system and one of the peripheral medium voltage circuit breakers blew and failed. We are waiting for the part which has been promised for next Friday.
“The job itself is relatively straight-forward and we hope to have it up and running as soon as possible.”
