Organisers of the Latitude Festival announced yesterday that tickets for this summer's event have sold out.

The festival, held at the Henham Estate, near Southwold, was expanded to accommodate 35,000 people this year.

But demand for tickets was high with music headliners including Florence + The Machine, Belle and Sebastian and Vampire Weekend.

Festival Republic, who organise Latitude, said there were no longer any weekend or day tickets lefts. It is the fourth year running that the festival has sold out.

It takes place from July 15 to 18 and more acts are still to be confirmed.

Suffolk-born musician Cevanne has been picked as one of three local acts to perform on the BBC Introducing Stage at Latitude Festival this summer.

Along with bands The Cads and These Ghosts, Cevanne will perform in front of thousands of festival goers.

Her music is “experimental pop” and she said people can expect to have a fun time if they watch her set.
