PUPILS, teachers and neighbours of Corton Primary School were left devastated this week when lead was stolen from the school's roof.
The quantity of lead, valued at around �300, was taken from the school's flat roof between 7.30pm on Tuesday and 7.30am Wednesday last week.
“We're absolutely devastated and outraged as we're a small village school that everyone in the community helps look after,” said head teacher Vickie Cunnane.
The lead was taken from the roof above the school's computer room although no damage was done inside the building.
