GREAT Yarmouth Lions Club is still taking bookings from local charities to join them on the Market Place on the same day as the first Friday Market on May 28.

Local charities are invited to promote their causes and join in what has traditionally always been a good day out, contact Lion Richard Barr on 07798 878082 or email richard-barr@live.com for more details and book a pitch on the Market Place. Last year, mayor Tony Smith visited every charity and it is hoped this will be a feature of Petticoat Lane this year.

By being part of the Friday Market the Lions hope it will be a bigger and better day.
