A man has been jailed for 30 months after admitting being part of a ‘county line’ dealing Class A drugs in Great Yarmouth.
Ben Baker, 22, from London, was sentenced at Norwich Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday September 18) for supplying Class A drugs in the town.
It followed a swoop on a property in Northgate Street on Monday August 20 when officers seized a number of wraps of Class A drugs, some cash, mobile phones, and knives.
Sergeant Tony Hogan said: “Ben Baker is one of a number of people to be jailed recently for county lines drug dealing in Norfolk and his sentencing reflects the continued commitment by officers across the county to tackle this problem.
“I want to reassure those living in Great Yarmouth that we will continue to disrupt and prevent Class A drug dealing to ensure the town remains a safe place to live in and visit.”
