SPORTS car enthusiasts have helped to raise 1,000 for East Anglia's Children's Hospices in a charity drive.
Members of the East Anglia Lotus Club held the sponsored event through the Norfolk and Suffolk countryside. It included a call to the hospice at Quidenham.
Club secretary Mark Rolph said he hoped similar drives for charity would be held every year. He added: “A day out in our Lotuses in support of such a worthy local charity was inspired by knowing a member's son had greatly benefited from the wonderful care offered by EACH.
“It was both a humbling yet uplifting experience when we saw the children excited to see all the Lotus cars.”
