A pet owner has made a desperate appeal to find her cherished pet cat - who has been missing for two weeks.

Seven-year-old Belle is a medium-sized tortoiseshell and has not been seen since October 1, at around 5am.

She was last seen in the St Peters Road area of Great Yarmouth, with Havelock Road and Victoria Road also possible locations.

Owner Lana Smith said: “She has a daughter at home who is missing her dearly, is not eating much and spends time sitting at the back door crying for her.”

Belle has been spayed and micro-chipped, and was wearing a red collar with a name tag and contact details.

A small reward is on offer for her safe return.
