YEAR 11 girls from Lyn Grove High School in Gorleston can now buy a new netball kit after they bagged cash last week at Sainsbury's. Shoppers at the Great Yarmouth store got a pair of helping hands at the checkouts in return for a donation.
YEAR 11 girls from Lyn Grove High School in Gorleston can now buy a new netball kit after they bagged cash last week at Sainsbury's. Shoppers at the Great Yarmouth store got a pair of helping hands at the checkouts in return for a donation.
The youngsters rolled up their sleeves and packed all day to raise a fantastic £553, part of which will also go to charity.
Sainsbury's spokeswoman Judy Nichols said: “It is always nice to see the local youngsters from schools and groups helping to raise money towards a good course where themselves and others benefit.”
