Man assaulted with knife and poker in Caister

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in West Caister,

On Sunday, February 12, just before 10pm a man and a woman in their 20s had been dropped off by a black taxi on Castle Lane when the man was approached and was assaulted by two men. One of the offenders had a knife and the other a poker.

A green fabric bag containing cash and personal documents was stolen. The man suffered minor injuries.

One of the robbers is described as of large build and was wearing a black woollen hat and a black raincoat. A suspicious small white car, possibly a Ford Fiesta, was also seen in the area.
