POLICE officers from Great Yarmouth are appealing for witnesses to an assault in St Nicholas Road.

POLICE officers from Great Yarmouth are appealing for witnesses to an assault in St Nicholas Road.

A 23 year old man was attacked by the occupants of a car between 4.15 and 4.40am on Sunday.

The victim was walking from Silkmill Road onto St.Nicholas Road when a silver Vauxhall Astra sped past.

After reversing the driver assaulted him and as the man tried to defend himself three passengers joined in. The car drove off towards Fullers Hill.
