Man attacked in attempted robbery

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery at Crown Road, in Great Yarmouth.

The victim was walking along Crown Road when he was approached from behind and hit on the head with an unknown object.

The victim was walking along Crown Road when he was approached from behind and hit on the head with an unknown object.

His attackers then demanded money and after the victim said he didn't have any they ran off towards Russell Road.

The victim suffered severe bruising and swelling.
