A 56-year-old man has been charged with assault by battery and criminal damage following an attack on an on-call paramedic.
Vincent Fahey of Townshend Road, Great Yarmouth, is accused of assaulting the paramedic following an incident on Sandy Lane, West Runton on Sunday, August 13, at around 1am.
The victim suffered cuts, bruising and swelling to their arms, neck, hands and legs after being flagged down.
Fahey has been charged with assault by battery and criminal damage and will appear at North Norfolk Magistrates Court in Cromer on Thursday, September 9.
