Man charged after JCB digger stolen

A 19-YEAR-old man from Lowestoft was arrested on Saturday night after taking a £36,000 JCB digger from a building compound at Kings Drive, in Bradwell.

A 19-YEAR-old man from Lowestoft was arrested on Saturday night after taking a £36,000 JCB digger from a building compound at Kings Drive, in Bradwell.

The offender was stopped by officers two miles from the location at Fritton and was taken to Great Yarmouth police station where he was interviewed and charged with taking JCB, driving while disqualified, no insurance and no driving licence.

He was released on bail to appear at Yarmouth Magistrates Court on April 29.
