Man charged with attempted robbery

A 27-year-old Great Yarmouth man has appeared in court charged with attempted robbery.

Victor Madiera, from Wellington Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted robbery when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court with a Portuguese interpreter on Tuesday.

Victor Madiera, from Wellington Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted robbery when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court with a Portuguese interpreter on Tuesday.

Madiera is charged with attempting to rob Robert Dawson of cash on September 24 last year and then attempting to rob Martin Hewitt on the same day. He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on March 10.
