Man charged with stealing sat nav and wallet from a vehicle in Great Yarmouth

A 43-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle after police were contacted about a man trying the door handles of vehicles parked in Cobholm in the early hours of Sunday.

Gratis Berzins, of Mill Road in Great Yarmouth, was arrested at Vincent Close and taken into custody where he was interviewed by officers. He was subsequently charged with stealing a satellite navigation system and a wallet from a vehicle and has been bailed to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court on Monday, July 2.
