A MAN had to be talked down by police after climbing on to the roof of a property in Hopton.The man, suspected of shoplifting, spent 25 minutes on top of the roof in St Vincent Walk before eventually being persuaded to come down of his own accord.
A MAN had to be talked down by police after climbing on to the roof of a property in Hopton.
The man, suspected of shoplifting, spent 25 minutes on top of the roof in St Vincent Walk before eventually being persuaded to come down of his own accord.
Firefighters were also called to the incident shortly after 5pm yesterday as police believed they might need their ladders to get the man down.
