Man disturbs burglars

POLICE are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in South Walsham.

The incident happened last Thursday at a house on The Street.

The occupier returned home at about 12.

POLICE are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in South Walsham.

The incident happened last Thursday at a house on The Street.

The occupier returned home at about 12.15pm and disturbed two male youths attempting to break in.

The pair then ran off across marsh land via Church Close.

Both offenders are described as white and aged between 15 and 17-years-old.

One was 5ft tall, of slim build, with short dark hair, wearing blue jeans and a stripy multi-colour jumper.

The second was also slim built and wearing a light blue sweatshirt.
